Mughal e Azam is an epic Indian film. It was produced and directed by K. Asif and released in 1960. It took approx ten years to finish this movie, and was the most lavish production for its time. This movie broke all box office records in India when released and held the record for the highest grossing film ever until the release of 1975 film Sholay. Excellent characterization starting from Anarkali (Madhubala, the best Indian actress of all time).
