Mohabbatein , which was released in 2000 is directed by Aditya Chopra. The movie stars Amitabh Bachchan and Shahrukh Khan in pivotal roles, along with six young debutantes. Aishwarya Rai appeared in flashbacks as Khan's lover. This is Aditya Chopra's second directorial venture after Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge and Shahrukh Khan agreed to do the film without even looking at the script.
